We say goodbye with deep sadness to Dr. Lajos Timár, who passed away in the 81st year of his life. 🕯️🕊️
The retired associate professor of the University of Pannonia, was a special character in the university life. Most people knew him not as a researcher or lecturer, but as a tireless teacher of dance, which was an essential part of his being and accompanied him throughout his entire life.

Don’t forget, that the end of the semester is coming, so you have to collect the 20 signatures needed to complete the Physical Education course in PETE system (alairas.sport.uni-pannon.hu) until 15th May!
Signatures that are registered on a paper-based attendance sheets (e.g. International Folk-Dance Club, Tennis, Futsal University Tournament, etc.) will be added to signatures in the PETE system during the exam period. Please keep a record of your paper-based signatures until they are entered into our system!
IMPORTANT! After 15th May, everyone will have a "denied" status for the Physical Education subject in NEPTUN. We will process and validate the signatures during the exam period, we kindly ask for your patients.

The 8th PannonBall basketball in-house championship was held on April 14.🏀

The final match of the University of Pannonia's spring football home tournament took place on Monday evening at the artificial turf field located on the university’s upper campus. Over the course of the seven-week series, 12 teams and nearly 120 students took to the field week after week, demonstrating the tournament’s popularity and its power to build community. ⚽

On the occasion of International Dance Day, this year we’re not stopping at just one day – for an entire week, dance, movement, and community will take center stage!💃🏼🕺🏼
Between April 27–30, we are celebrating the Dance Week at the University of Pannonia, where everyone can find their own style. Whether it’s traditional Hungarian folk dance, passionate Latin dances, or styles from around the world! Our themed week will also feature energetic hip-hop, cheerleading, and a bit of dance aerobic.
Both beginners and advanced participants are welcome to try themselves, gain new experiences, and discover the joy of dance!🎶

The America Week, organized jointly by the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Pannonia, the Institute of English and American Studies, and American Corner Veszprém, took place between March 16–18, focusing on American culture.
On Monday, March 16, the series of events kicked off with a sports program: visitors could watch flag football matches between University of Pannonia and the Fehérvár Enthroners. 🏈

The University of Pannonia Spring Football Home Tournaments kicked off on March 9, with evening matches under the lights making for a special opening. Twelve teams are participating in this popular university sporting event this year, and nearly 150 students take the field each week. ⚽🏆
A delegation of students from the University of Pannonia and the University of Pannonia Zalaegerszeg University Center participated in the 17th Carpathian Basin Universities Cup (KEK). The three-day sporting event, held at multiple venues across Budapest, this sporting event is one of the largest university sports festivals in the Carpathian Basin, with a record number of participants competing this year.

If you do not have your own bicycle, you can request one from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports (limited availability) by filling out the form by March 19 at 10:00 AM.
The requested bicycles can be picked up on March 20 at 9:50 AM and returned to the Institute of Physical Education and Sports after the tour.
It is not possible to complete only part of the tour.
After completing the tour, we will provide 4 physical education credits.
