Physical Education and Sports Institute
The college students in Veszprém hadn't even thought about what it would be like for a Nereus student to go home after a good evening at DC. Our aim is to raise public awareness of the real dangers of this little-known "curse".
We will begin this wonderful discovery in the square in front of Nereus College, from where we will head towards the quay, where we will see to a breathtaking panorama. Then we will go to the highest point of Balatonalmádi, the Óvári-viewpoint, from where we will have a look at one of the most outstanding towns of the Balaton region. After we get tired of admiring the beauty of the landscape, the real adventure begins. We head through the dark forest via Szentkirályszabadján to the town of Veszprém.

The road to Hell
Want to explore the scariest places in Veszprém with experienced explorers? If so, wait no longer, come and join the exploration.
On 12.03.2025 the biggest nature exploration around Veszprém will be organised for the first time. What is included in this amazing adventure? First of all, we will visit the famous lookout of the famous Queen Gizella on the Gulya hill, where the view is phenomenal. For refreshment, our next destination is Laczko Spring, from where we set off refreshed for the awe-inspiring scenery. We head to the cursed Ördögrágta rock on the outskirts of Veszprém, where we will take a look at the legacy of evil. Because peace of mind is important, after a difficult ordeal we will go to a sacred place, the Tekeres Valley, where, in addition to the release, we will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the landscape. After all the excitement, we will take a more relaxed route through the Nyéki-Hujber Pass back to the safe streets of the previously unknown, sheltering Veszprém.
What to bring with you?
First and foremost, come dressed in clothing that you can easily make the journey in. Try to come in non-slip, comfortable shoes. As a possibility, bring a flashlight. Bring enough food and drinking water, but try to pack as light as possible.
