The road to Hell
Want to explore the scariest places in Veszprém with experienced explorers? If so, wait no longer, come and join the exploration.
On 12.03.2025 the biggest nature exploration around Veszprém will be organised for the first time. What is included in this amazing adventure? First of all, we will visit the famous lookout of the famous Queen Gizella on the Gulya hill, where the view is phenomenal. For refreshment, our next destination is Laczko Spring, from where we set off refreshed for the awe-inspiring scenery. We head to the cursed Ördögrágta rock on the outskirts of Veszprém, where we will take a look at the legacy of evil. Because peace of mind is important, after a difficult ordeal we will go to a sacred place, the Tekeres Valley, where, in addition to the release, we will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the landscape. After all the excitement, we will take a more relaxed route through the Nyéki-Hujber Pass back to the safe streets of the previously unknown, sheltering Veszprém.
What to bring with you?
First and foremost, come dressed in clothing that you can easily make the journey in. Try to come in non-slip, comfortable shoes. As a possibility, bring a flashlight. Bring enough food and drinking water, but try to pack as light as possible.

Students who complete the entire tour can collect 3 physical education signatures by participating.
Route: PE & Sports Institute - Szentkirályszabadja - Videoton Park - PE & Sports Institute
Distance: ~20 km
Departure: 28.02.2025. 9:00
Meeting point: in front of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport
Return: depending on the time, probably between 11:00-12:00

Participation is recommended for beginners, there are no significant elevation gains during the ride.
If you don't have your own bike, you can request a limited number from the Institute of Physical Education and Sport by filling in the form by 10:00 on 27 February.
You can pick up your requested bikes on 28 February at 8:50am and return them to the Institute of Physical Education and Sport after the ride.
No part of the tour can be completed.
After completing the tour, 3 physical education signatures will be given.
In case of program changes, further information will be given to those who have registered.

Description: Two groups will be formed: one from Márkó to the Fekete István lookout tower and the other from Bánd to the Mayer Antal lookout tower. The two lookouts will signal each other with a light bridge.

Travel by bus at own expense. The tour will be in the evening, so headlamp or torch is obligatory.

Distance: ~20 km
Departure: 29.11.2024. 10:00
Meeting point: in front of the Physical Education and Sports Institute
Return: depending on the time of the journey, at the latest around 13:00
