The Road to Hell (Evening Tour)

Would you like to explore Veszprém’s most terrifying places with experienced explorers? If so, don’t wait any longer—come and join the adventure.

On September 23, 2026, the largest nature exploration tour around Veszprém will take place for the first time. What does this wonderful adventure entail? First, on Gulya Hill, we’ll visit the famous Queen Gizella Lookout, where the view is phenomenal. To refresh ourselves, our next stop will be the Laczkó Spring, from where, feeling revitalized, we’ll set off into the unknown. We’ll head to the cursed Ördögrágta Rock on the outskirts of Veszprém, where we’ll examine the legacy of evil.  Since peace of mind is important, after these difficult trials we’ll head to a sacred place, the Tekeres Valley, where, in addition to finding absolution, we can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the landscape. After all the excitement, we’ll take a more leisurely route back through the Nyéki-Hujber Pass to the safe, protective streets of Veszprém, which we haven’t explored yet.

What should you bring?

First and foremost, wear clothing that allows you to hike comfortably. Try to wear non-slip, comfortable shoes. We recommend bringing a flashlight. Bring enough food and drinking water, but try to pack as lightly as possible.
